Dr. Francisco Javier Calderón Montero
Dr. Calderón is Associate Professor in Physiology at the Faculty of Sport Sciences - INEF, of the Technical University of Madrid (Spain). He has been Director of the Department of Health and Human Performance in that Faculty.
He is Doctor and Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (Complutense University of Madrid), and Bachelor in Physical Education (Technical University of Madrid).
He is the author of numerous articles indexed in the Journal of Citation Reports (JCR), and published 2 books focused on human physiology and exercise.
He is Director of the Exercise physiology laboratory (LFE) at the UPM. His main research lines are "Exercise Physiology", "Cardiorespiratory assessment by ergospirometry".

Dr. Calderón participated at the VII International Symposium of Strength Training with the presentation entitled "BIOCHEMICAL CONTROL OF RESISTANCE TRAINING".

Dr. Calderón participated at the II International Symposium of Strength Training with the presentation entitled "STRENGTH TRAINING IN CARDIAC PATHOLOGIES".
