Ms. Porta Oliva is currently working as a nutritionist at FC Barcelona. She has also worked as a nutritionist for the Royal Spanish Hockey Federation and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. On the other hand, she is also an associate professor at Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) since 2017.

She is a graduate in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and in Food Science and Technology from the University of Barcelona (UB).

Dr. Maffiuletti is the Head of Research of Human Performance Laboratory in the Schulthess Clinic in Zurich (Switzerland).

He has a degree in physical education from the Università degli Studi di Milano, a master’s degree in science from the University of Burgundy (France) and a Ph.D. in sports science from the same institution.

His current research focuses on different aspects of human neuromuscular function, with the goal of providing useful knowledge to researchers, clinicians, and practitioners working in different fields.

Dr. Maffiuletti participated at the XIV International Symposium of Strength Training with the presentation entitled "NEUROMUSCULAR ELECTRICAL STIMULATION FOR TRAINING REHAB".

Dr. Hackney is a Professor of Exercise Physiology and Nutrition in the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Public Health, and Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He has graduated in Health and Kinesiology from Berea College (USA), has a Master degree in Exercise Physiology from Kent State University (USA) and has a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology and nutrition from Kent State University (USA).

His research group studies how stress (physical, environmental, and emotional) affects the hormonal responses of the endocrine system. In particular, his focus is upon the dysfunctions and dysregulations that develop from stress exposure(s) which can ultimately compromise physiological responses and adaptations. He has over 300 published peer-reviewed research papers and book chapters. He has also conducted research projects funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, USAID, and the National Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Hachey participated at the XIV International Symposium of Strength Training with the presentation entitled "PHYSIOLOGY OF SEX HORMONES: FEMALE ATHLETES CONSIDERATIONS".

Ms. Salas Monedero works as a sports instructor at the Hospital Nacional de Parapléjicos of Toledo (teaching sports such as judo and swimming, among others). She is also specialized in adapted physical activity and is currently the coach of the first wheelchair rugby team of Castilla La Mancha "Carpetanos CRT", in Toledo.

She has a degree in Sport Sciences and Physical Activity and a Master degree in Sports Science Research from the University of Castilla la Mancha (Spain).

Ms. Salas Monedero participated at the XIV International Symposium of Strength Training with the presentation entitled "STRENGTH TRAINING FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY".

Dr. G. Alcaraz is an Assistant Professor at the University of Almeria (UAL).

He is a graduate in Sport Sciences and Physical Activity from the University of Granada (Spain) and Ph.D. from the University of Murcia (Spain).

He has been coaching volleyball for almost 18 years, leading teams from early age club to national team. In addition to coaching volleyball, he is also in charge of physical preparation and is a specialist in game analysis.

Dr. G. Alcaraz participated at the XIV International Symposium of Strength Training with the presentation entitled "GAME DEMANDS AND PHYSICAL PREPARATION IN SAND SPORTS: A REAL CASE IN BEACH VOLLEYBALL".
